Arturo Pelizzatti Perego founded his firm in 1984 putting into it all his experience coming from four generations of wine growers and makers. Today ArPePe is a young not conventional company, leaded by his daughter and sons, Isabella, Emanuele and Guido, well focused on the future with enthusiasm.

Rejecting the procedures imposed on wine maker by the fashion, all the wines have been produced following traditional techniques and truly show the peculiarities of Nebbiolo, an extraordinary vine which in Valtellina, as well as in the Langhe area in Piemonte, finds the best expression.

The uniqueness of this company appears also from cellar, dug into the mountain at the base of the Grumello zone, at the entrance of Sondrio. Just above the barrels, vineyards climb up steep to the Rocca De Piro, where the medieval Castle De Piro dominate the widest European terraced area.
