Valtellina's Distinctive Nebbiolos
Wine Spectator, Alison Napjus, October 31, 2020
Valtellina Nebbiolos are typically bright and sleek, showing the grape's characteristic cherry, strawberry, herb and spice notes. Their taut tannins are partnered with a lively acidic presence, in contrast to Barolo, which has more density to the tannic structure.
